Hamsters make great first pets, but you must know whether you can properly care for one through research.
Knock it on the head.
you buy a vitam drink
Take it to the vets quickly!
Yes you should bring your sneezing hamster to the vet... Because if you don't it could die.
It's the circle of life and all of us shall die some day.
Go to a licensed vet.
Well how long have you had it? Maybe: 1. You need to play/train with your hamster some more. 2. Or it maybe just doesn't like you.
you should get a cage that allows you pet to get plenty of air.one big enough to have a water bottle and food and a wheel.
It's ok. My hamster trims her teeth by eating carrots and celery. You also find candy chewys at pet stores like pet smart. My hamster likes to chew on it every day since it has a different flavor rather than wood.
If your hamster does not like it when you pick it up, and you are still talking softly to it while holding it, while also being completely gentle and sensitive to all of its needs, there is a problem. Bring your pet to a pet store to be examined. It may have a problem with humans, period. However, if your hamster is fairly new, your hamster could be simply shy. Hamsters will outgrow this, as do humans. Just make sure you are sensitive and quiet for a happy hamster!
As with a person, try to be gentle and friendly to the hamster until they are acquainted with you. Don't try to take them out too much at first, as this may just result in a bitten finger. Start with giving your hamster some treats from your hand. You should soon be able to take them out, and eventually feed your hamster food right off of your hand--even tiny little grains. Before you know it your hamster will be your best friend and you'll live happily ever after :P....but seriously, there are a lot of hamster books at the pet store and at the library which tell you even more about how to deal with a new hamster, and a shy hamster. :)
It is not recommended to give a hamster a bath as it can be stressful and harmful to their health. Hamsters are naturally clean animals and groom themselves regularly. If your hamster gets dirty, you can spot clean them with a damp cloth or use a chinchilla sand bath for them to roll in.
