This is easily done with the right program: my favourite to use is Pokesav as its simple when you know what to do. First, download Pokesav for Platinum (there's different one for Diamond & Pearl & Heart Gold & Soul Silver).
Then, edit your Pokemon! It's simple if you follow a tutorial (there are plenty on YouTube) which should also cover how to pass the codes onto your action replay, which you can then activate in-game.
