I am in high school and I have always wanted to be a homecoming maid. Well, this year i was elected for Spanish club. However, once I told my theater teacher that I was a maid, he told me too bad I cannot do it because I have Thespian Festival. I asked if there was anyway I could attend both, but he continued to say no. He offered saying that he would make sure I get homecoming maid for theater next year but I don't know how much I can trust his word.
I feel like I should keep my responsibility and do the Thespian Festival because I am in competitions but I want to also do Homecoming which is like a once in a life time thing. I had fasted and prayed to get homecoming maid too so I feel like I would be neglecting my blessing. But if I back out, I will probably have to drop my theater activies because he will never cast me as a good role again in any play. Let alone I don't feel uber welcomed in the club anyway so I am wondering If I should chose Homecoming over Theater. I also went to festival last year and it was okay-fun but not life changing.
Any Advice is helpful!
absolutely not! there is not a reason in the world that someone should deem you as a freak if you do not attend those dances.
thank them for nominating you. Pump up the student body. Let them know they should attend the homecoming game and dance. It will be fun. Thank the, again. Be you? I mean that's how you got on the court right??
he got a GED in theater
Yes, they could attend but they could not appear on stage.
If a person needs to attend festivals, the leave application should include what days they need off. The letter should contain contact information in case there is a problem.
