Hi, then I commited myself to learn touchtyping I really learned to hate the querty layout. After some googling I found both the Colemak and the Dvorak layout. I tried them both for a day each and decided to stick with Dvorak. Colemak has a lot of advantages over Dvorak, but I just fell in love with the way my hands alternated then typing with Dvorak. However you should asking yourself if typing speed is really the only thing you care about. In the rare moments I'm using the mouse I'm hating the Dvorak for it disables me to execute most shortcuts with one hand. Looking back, I might go down a different road. Still, although I didn't give Colemak to hard a try, I think the hand alternation gives Dvorak a slight speed edge.
it requirs less finger motion, increases typing rate, and reduces errors compared to the QWERTY keyboard.....THIS IS THE ACTUAL ANSWER!!!!!! I KNOW IT IS!!!!!!!
slow typing speed and more errors
what are the advantages and disadvantages of the DVORAK what are the advantages and disadvantages of the DVORAK an advantages is that it is easer to learn
I would imagine typing mistakes when one hits a key not intended, especially when it is not noticed.
Software should have no defects or errors.
A QWERTY-type keyboard has the layout of semi-randomly placed keys on a keyboard. The layout was created to slow down fast typists using an ABC-type keyboard, as older typewriters could not handle fast typing speeds without jamming errors. The layout does not show a pattern of the alphabet. This is the most popular type of keyboard, and is widely accepted for all uses. A ABC-type keyboard has the layout of neatly placed keys on a keyboard, in alphabetical order. This layout is not popular at all, and is not widely accepted, for modern reasons. Going from the QWERTY format to an ABC-type format would take much adjustment.
The corresponding key in every finger on a computer keyboard is Q-W-E-R-T-Y. If a keyboard does not have these letters next to each other, no one would be able to type properly without making errors.
what should you do if Microsoft word gives errors saving files
for errors
Yes, definitely. Not by the computer, but by the information/data/numbers typed in by a human using the keyboard.
