If you still have it and need it, a generic DOS bootable disc (PCDOS or MSDOS) should work on most intel and intel compatible computers that are compatible with the original 8088/8086 PC architecture.

Some computer manufacturers extended the capabilities of their machine and supplied a customized version of a DOS bootable disc. In that case, it may be that the DOS disc may not work properly or at all on other computer models or that computer may not function with other vendors supplied versions of DOS
