This will be a very difficult decision to make for the owner - does the dog still enjoy interacting with the owner? Can the dog still control his bladder and colon and make it outside to go to the bathroom? Does the dog still eat and drink a healthy amount? Blindness in dogs is not nearly as debilitating as blindness in humans because dogs rely more on their senses of smell and hearing anyway. If the blindness is secondary to the Diabetes (which is common), it was a progressive loss of function and the dog was able to adapt to the blindness slowly. Diabetes is also a manageable disease in most dogs, although some may not be able to be regulated or may object to the insulin injections.
If the dog is simply blind and has manageable and stable diabetes, but otherwise acts like a normal dog, it wouldn't be more humane to put the dog down.
it is about witch type it is than you might put it to sleep
Is it hard to sleep when you have diabetes?
diabetes is known mainly because they have too much sugar turn diabetic and if they have too much sugar then they sleep for the rest of their lives
No, otherwise we'd all be blind because we all sleep!!
It has been shown through studies that a lack of sleep might cause an increased risk for type two diabetes. Althought its unclear how much diabetes is directly related to a lack of sleep.
Helen Keller did not die because she was blind. She was blind and deaf but that was not the cause of her death. She peacefully died in her sleep.
study because it gives you a better futer and then you can sleep!
I think you mean why should a 13 year old should go to sleep. If you do, then its important because without sleep your brain doesn't function properly because of lack of rest.
Lack of sleep
because sleep is necessary for health, without the sleep her baby may not be as healthy
a common risk factor for both diabetes and sleep apnea is being overweight. That is for type 2 diabetes and osa that is not caused by tonsils, uvula, deviated septum, or adnoids.
I think they should because they aren't supposed to sleep on their face.
No,but if it is cheek it's eyes for swelling and blindness other wise bye some turtle eye droppings at petsmart!
