Generally the swag chain will originate on a spot on the ceiling in the center of the room, but the chandelier looks best and is most useful centered over the table. This is accomplished, of course, by draping the chain to a ceiling hook over the table, from which the chandelier will hang down. If the light is hung anywhere else than centered over the table, there is also the disadvantage that a taller person may hit it with his head.

What is RBDMS?

RDBMS stands for Relational Database Management System. RDBMS data is structured in database tables, fields and records. Each RDBMS table consists of database table rows. Each database table row consists of one or more database table fields.RDBMS store the data into collection of tables, which might be related by common fields (database table columns). RDBMS also provide relational operators to manipulate the data stored into the database tables. Most RDBMS use SQL as database query language.

In a Database Management System what are joins?

A Database Management System or DBMS is compromised of many related tables of data. Tables are simply two dimentional (rows and columns) of data, similar to a spreadsheet. Joins are used to combine tables of data based on related columns within those tables. By using JOINS, a database becomes multi-dementional. Joins are simply a structured way to combine related data in different tables within the database system. Example an employee table might contain the following fields: EmployeeID (the Primary Key) LastName, FirstName, MiddleName, HireDate, DepartmentID (a foreign key to the Department table) Manager_EmployeeID (a foreign key relating back to a different employee record in the employee table) Department Table: DepartmentID, DepartmentName, DepartmentManager_EmployeeID (Foriegn Key relating to the employee table) In the Employee sample table, the EmployeeID serves as the primary key, which uniquely identifies the entire row of data. Joins for the Employee table would typically be done on related tables, such as the Department table via the DepartmentID, or even back on the Employee table itself using the Manager_EmployeeID, relating the EmployeeID to the Manager_EmployeeID. If the EmployeeID is in another table as a foreign key then joins can also be done to those tables as well.

Define Granularity in database management system?

If one application holds a lock on a database object, another application might not be able to access that object. For this reason, row-level locks, which minimize the amount of data that is locked and therefore inaccessible, are better for maximum concurrency than block-level, data partition-level or table-level locks. However, locks require storage and processing time, so a single table lock minimizes lock overhead. The LOCKSIZE clause of the ALTER TABLE statement specifies the scope (granularity)of locks at the row, data partition, block, or table level. By default, row locks are used. Only S (Shared) and X (Exclusive) locks are requested by these defined table locks. The ALTER TABLE statement LOCKSIZE ROW clause does not prevent normal lock escalation from occurring. A permanent table lock defined by the ALTER TABLE statement might be preferable to a single-transaction table lock using LOCK TABLE statement in the following cases: * The table is read-only, and will always need only S locks. Other users can also obtain S locks on the table. * The table is usually accessed by read-only applications, but is sometimes accessed by a single user for brief maintenance, and that user requires an X lock. While the maintenance program runs, the read-only applications are locked out, but in other circumstances, read-only applications can access the table concurrently with a minimum of locking overhead. For an MDC table, you can specify BLOCKINSERT for the LOCKSIZE clause in order to use block-level locking during INSERT operations only. When this is specified, row-level locking is performed for all other operations, but only minimally for INSERT operations. That is, block-level locking is used during the insertion of rows, but row-level locking is used for next-key locking if RR scans are encountered in the indexes as they are being updated. BLOCKINSERT locking might be beneficial in the following cases: * There are multiple transactions doing mass insertions into separate cells. * Concurrent insertions to the same cell by multiple transactions is not occurring, or it is occurring with enough data inserted per cell by each of the transactions that the user is not concerned that each transaction will insert into separate blocks. The ALTER TABLE statement specifies locks globally, affecting all applications and users that access that table. Individual applications might use the LOCK TABLE statement to specify table locks at an application level instead.parant post http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/db2luw/v9r5/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.db2.luw.admin.perf.doc/doc/c0005271.htmlmy blog http://jacksparrowcode.blogspot.com/

What is the need of rdbms?

A DBMS stores data in a table where the entries are filed under a specific category and are properly indexed. This allowed programmers to have a lot more structure when saving or retrieving data. A relational database contains data in more than one table. Each table contains a database that is then linked to other tables with respect to their relationships. Explain the decision support system concept and how it differ from traditional management information system?

In decision support system (now maturing into business intelligent) user has the ability to construct a table (view, query) with any combination of the existing fields in all database. The traditional MIS is confined to reports which although customize-able often become a one time design because of it's labour intensive nature. As illustration, if traditional MIS is ordinary excel table, decision support system is like the excel pivot table.

If the table does center vertically were should it begin?

If it is centered vertically it means that it is locked to the middle of the document - top to the bottom middle".So computer calculates table position with respect to that point or better said line.

How high above the table should a chandelier be mounted?

It depends on how high the ceiling is.

What is considered to be the best dining room lighting?

The best dining room lighting would be a chandelier that is centered over the dining room table. This light is ideal because it provides a central light for whatever is taking place on the table.

What is the most secure way to mount a new chandelier in my kitchen remodeling project?

The most secure way to mount a new chandelier in your kitchen remodeling project is to mount it on a table such as a coffee table etc. Chandelier's are very easy to break so be careful when you are putting it up.

How low can the chandelier be to the dining room table?

It depends on the type of chandelier. If it is a traditional, candelabra base chandelier, it will need some room (approximately 2-3 Feet) for serving and general aesthetics. Other chandeliers, such as a Waterfall style chandelier, drapes onto the dining room table, literally speading its trim against its top for a fresh look.

How do you make a chandelier into a table lamp?

Relatively easy. But I will have to see photo's & dementions.

How should column headings be aligned in a table?

The source is a note left aligned at the bottom of the table used to identify the source of the information provided in the table. Column headings should be center aligned. 3 rules for a table: The main title should be centered, all caps, and bold. The horizontal arrangement of information in a table is a row.

What is the horizontal arrangement information in a table?

The main title should be centered, all caps, and bold. The horizontal arrangement of information in a table is a row. The vertical arrangement of information in a table is a column. Create a bulleted list of the key pieces of information found in a table.

What is the vertical arrangement of information in a table?

The vertical arrangement of information in a table refers to the organization of data in columns, where each column represents a different data category or attribute. Each row in the table typically represents an individual record or data point, with specific values for each attribute arranged vertically within the corresponding column.

How far apart are the markers on a billiard table?

The foot spot and head spot are 1/4 from the ends and centered between the sides of the table. For an 8' x 4' table this means they should be 2' from the ends and 2' from each side. The center spot is not usually marked.
