Yes it should. To many people, it is false advertising. They are promoting food that literally kills you due to the amount of fat, calories, carbs, etc. you intake. But on the commercials they pretend like the food makes everyone happy and is good for you. (For example, some McDonalds commercials use children and call their meals healthy if they include milk and apple wedges.) If they are not banned they should at least warn you of the dangers of fast food.
Despite what was said before, Fast food does NOT literally kill anybody. Everything you eat can kill you in some way. Food is eaten as the person wants to. So what you eat is your own choice. Your health also depends on your own physical activities, like Do you eat a burger and take a nap? Or are you an active person that will burn those and many more calories after eating it. Yet the main thing is, the question was on the advertising. We live in a society that promotes free enterprise. If you want to eat what commercials tell you to, well you should get a life. You should decide what you eat. And what gives anybody the right to ban what you say or how you say it, much less a gov. organization. We live in a world with some freedoms here.
Those freedoms also give us the right NOT to buy what is advertised. And most importantly gives 'Euro' the right to that opinion as it gives me the right to mine.
No because with that advertisement people are making money. If you take away all the fast food adverts it would be making people loose alot of money. Sure fast food is not good for you but hey you have a choice to eat it or not.
McDonalds should be not be banned, but make better food choices. Parents should not let their children eat often at fast food dining establishments.
USA
There are different opinions about this. I wouldn't say they should be banned, but the school itself should not make junk food and carbonated beverages available to students, such as in vending machines. Fast foods from McDonald's and other fast food restaurants should not be served at school, either.
dont ask me just go to google.com or bing.com they will have all your answers...tootles! ;3
no, salt should not be banned from foods because the salt gives it flavour
It should be banned for a number of different reasons including:Unhealthiness- fast food (hotdogs, burgers, chips, chicken etc...) is generally very unhealthy and can cause you many problems including diabetes (see 'What is diabetes?'.)Litter- Popular fast food restaurants (including McDonald's, KFC, Burger King and Pizza Hut) are very commonly littered with the leftover packaging and drink containers.
Though their are rumors about fast food companies using nicotine in their food it is banned in the USA to sell food with nicotine
No pesticide should not be banned. Do you want bugs to be crawling all over you house, food, children, or family?
YES!! Junk food is terrible! CHILDREN are DYING!
NO! Human beings have the right to make their own decisions. Yes fast food is unhealthy and can be linked to many medical problems such as Diabetes, Heart disease, and obesity, BUT that is no reason for it to be banned. It is wrong for a government to tell the people that they can't eat fast food. There are many things in life that are bad for us and it is up to the INDIVIDUAL to make their own choices concerning their life, their liberty, their happiness, and yes even their health.
10 reasons why people should not eat fast food
Many schools discourage fast foods and make it near-impossible to obtain for a student during school hours. They also promote foods such as fruit, sandwiches, yoghurts and drinking water or milk. National plans also exist for this kind of discouraging and promotion, so 'banning' fast food is not really necessary.
