Opinion: No, I believe children should not be paid for getting good grades. Money does, in fact, influence much in the human world, but for it to influence someones passion in getting a good education can be seen as beyond ridiculous. If one will only make an effort to get high grades and marks in school, to actually hold on to all they are being taught for money then they may need to be taught something else, in my opinion. That lesson would be in actually caring enough for oneself to not have to be paid to retain knowledge that will only do good for them in this world.
Yes because people will be smarter.
Paying kids for good grades can lead to a focus on extrinsic rewards rather than a genuine love of learning. It may also create an unhealthy pressure to perform and could diminish the intrinsic motivation to succeed academically. It's important to promote a positive attitude towards education and encourage children to strive for success for personal growth rather than for monetary reward.
Well, it depends.
If you give them money on a regular basis (such as pocket money every week) then you should find some other way to praise the kids for getting good grades.
However, if you do decide to, this may encourage the kids to try and get good grades in the future for money. You should also consider that in the future they may ask for more money for getting good grades.
It's up to you,
hope this helped. :)
Only if their parents want to pay them. Your reward for good grades is knowing you're doing a good job and passing the class and eventually getting a better job than if you flunked out. However, many parents do reward their children for good grades. You must talk to your parents and see if they would agree to give you some sort of reward.
Who said they can't? In the UK, students are paid to attend education, usually £30 for one week of full attendance. It helps encourage them to learn and keeps trouble off the streets.
Paying college students for good grades could motivate them to excel academically, but it may also undermine the value of learning for its own sake. It can create a transactional mindset towards education, leading students to prioritize grades over true learning and personal growth. Additionally, success in college should be about gaining knowledge and skills, not just earning a monetary reward.
Uniforms can promote a sense of equality among students and can reduce distractions related to clothing choices. However, they can also limit self-expression and individuality, and might not always be affordable or comfortable for all students.
Yes, children should go to school to receive a structured education that is essential for their development and future success. School provides opportunities for social interactions, life skills development, and academic growth that are important for their overall well-being.
Opinions by WikiAnswers contributors:I believe that students should get paid for doing well in school. We work hard to get good grades and accomplish goals for our districts. New York City even started a Pilot Program, where students in poorer communities get paid for doing well in school.Rewards are a great motivation, so in my opinion yes. Money might not be the best choice however. Reward your kids by telling them how proud you are and how good they did. And maybe add a little treat.
No because some kids turn to Athletic event bacause they are not very acedemic and they should not be told to be good at the one they just turned away from. They should just have good effort into thier work.
Yes I think they should.
That is a matter of opinion. In my mind they shouldn't, but some children respond to incentives such as that.
Yes! Because it make you feel good about yourself and then you want to good grades.
about your kids grades and behavior
No, because you have good hand writing because your steady but your not smart.
Money Bad grades Kids Time Work Apathy
Yes because better grades will help with the car insurance!
in higher grades there is more hard work
no but it helps if they suffer from injury and cannot compete, and if they don't earn enough whilst in the sport they can get a good job after In my personal opinion, I think that kids need good grades to play sports. If kids played really well in sports, but had terrible grades, they wouldn't do too well in real life. The only thing they could get a job in is sports, and if the kid doesn't make it into sports, they really can't make it into any other job because they didn't learn anything and got terrible grades in school. Plus, sport are 80% mental. If kids didn't get good grades, they wouldn't do too well in sports, either, because sports use mental abilities, which is 4/5ths of the game.
I think kids under 13 should not be allowed on Facebook because many kids aer getting poor grades. Children are always thinking about Facebook and not focusing on their work. Also many students may get into fights online and that may lead to cyber bullying. In conclusion kids should be atleast 13 years before getting a Facebook account. Even if kids are already 13 they still need supervision from parents or guardians. Facebook is a very serious matter.
