Answer
In the US, even offensive music is protected by First Amendment to our Bill of Rights. Objectionable material can be limited to where it is not a nuisance to the public, by the Declaration of Independence that says "...unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness". The pursuit of happiness has been interpreted to mean that one person can't impinge on others basic comfort.
In other words, you have the right to say what you like but you can't force others to listen to it. You can restrict it where the general population of that place would not like it, such as schools, hospitals, shopping mall, trains, public streets, etc.

"Outsiders" a novel published in 1967 was ranked 43rd amongst the top 100 banned books by the American Library Association. The book featured virtual characters of broken families and it talked about drug, alcohol and cigarette abuse, violence and used offensive language, the primary reasons for it being banned. In my opinion the book should not be banned because people should have the freedom to choose the boks that they can, and should read. The people banned the book. It's in their hands. No one............This book was banned in south Milwaukee .
The Simpson's are banned from China and Russia because the countries think that it seems racist and offensive to their culture.

Book and play banning is very undesirable and even dangerous, If a work should be banned the burden of proof must be on the who person who issues the ban. Highly controversial works that many people find offensive should probably not be required reading in public schools, but they should not be banned. Works by critically acclaimed writers always have some value even if they are not politically correct at the moment.
they should be banned because there very unhealthy
