Since 2013 or there about it now includes some insurance, here are the details from STAMPS.COM;Priority Mail automatically comes with $50 insurance with shipping labels ($100 for mailers with a Commercial Plus or negotiated pricing agreement) and Priority Mail Express automatically comes with $100 insurance. Priority Mail International will automatically cover up to $100 for documents and up to $200 for all other items. However Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelopes and the Small Flat Rate Box are not automatically covered by USPS insurance. For shipments that are valued at over $5,000, you can instead choose Registered Mail, which will give you up to $25,000 in coverage.
