That is an utterly ridiculous idea. If I take a personal photograph and want to insert it in a document or other work I am preparing that is exactly the function I need to do it!
In fact removing this feature would be violating the intent of copyright law by prohibiting valid copyright holders of photos they own of using them in any manner they desire! They would not be able to publish their photos in their documents and publications.
