I assume it is the same as my 1995 Ford Explorer . The button should be
DOWN , if the button has popped up then the switch has " tripped " and no
power is flowing to the electric fuel pump
look in the back by the engin about a foo1 down its a very little filther its going horizantle kinda hard to get to but not that bad
Drivers side in front of the battery, underthe air flow meter. Has 4 screws holding it down.
The reset button on the fuel pump inertia switch should be DOWN ( if the button has popped up , then no power is going to the electric fuel pump )

The fuel shut off switch is located on the trunk on the driver side. It is called a inertia switch. It is near the left hinge. The red switch should be in the up position for ON and pushed down for OFF. It can be reset by using a small screwdriver to push the switch up from underneath.
There are two ways the headlights can go up or down. 1st is by using the light switch on the steering column. The other is a switch just behind the stick shifter. I will sometimes hit it accidently and the lights will pop up. It took me some figuring out...but the simple switch is probably the culprit.

The dimmer switch is mounted in the dashboard. You will find it below the left side air duct below the light switch. It is a wheel that you move up or down to adjust.
