Definitely not. Most ham already has water injected into it prior to selling it (look at the label). Adding more water will severely affect the taste of the meat. It won't loosen or soften the flesh, because brining does the job.
If you are concerned with the ham getting dry while you heat it (most hams are already cooked), I have a couple suggestions. The more important is avoid overheating it. Ham should never be cooked over 350 F; preferably you cook it at 300 F. The second piece of advice is to make a "foil tent" to completely enclose the meat, reducing evaporation and concentrating flavor.
If you want to brown the top, around 15 minutes at the end of cooking, open the tent and raise the rack to a higher place in the over. Watch it carefully.
Here's something that really bugs me. Most people don't know how to use their oven.
yes so there's more flavor

Yes.
certainly defrosted thoroughly if frozenif just cold then fineif salty ham place in large pan of water for 12-24 hours before cooking and change water for fresh tap water every 8 hours or so. The salt leaches out of the ham into the water so when you cook the ham the meat is no longer as salty as it could have been.
Pineapples should be added towards the end. Watch the ham cook. When there are about 15 minutes left, slice up your pineapple. Then add them to the ham. If you are using fresh pineapple, it is important not to add the slices to the ham too early. Fresh pineapple contains an enzyme that will cause the ham to turn mushy. Better yet, use canned pineapple, the canning process destroys the enzyme. Also, do not store the leftover ham with the pineapple slices.

The average cooking time for a ham depends on the size of the ham. An uncooked ham should be cooked for approximately 25 to 30 minutes per pound. It must reach an internal temperature of at least 160 degrees.
You add a couple of tablespoons of water, mix it, then coat the ham with the glaze.
Not without destroying the ham. You could place the ham in a fresh water bath prior to cooking to draw out the salt, but I don't know how effective this would be.
shop ham in small pieces. Add water, potatoes, celery. Boil water with ham, potatoes, celery, add seasonings and ingredients, after potatoes is done, add any type of noodles, I prefer the tini spagetty noodles. (soup noodles) add chicken bullion, tomatoe sauce (optional), add ground pepper, lemon juice...Enjoy it with some steam rice!
It does not make much of a difference but it will add just be a little more moist.
Just add a little water, if that waters it out too much, add flour.
While cooking a ham you want it to get up to 160F so that all of the bacteria dies no matter how many lbs of ham you have it should reach 160F
Start by placing your ham in a crock pot. Add cold water and cover the pot. Turn the crock pot to high heat and bring to a boil.Turn down to medium heat and let the ham boil a few minutes, then drain water, and refill with water 2" above ham. Bring to a boil again over high heat. This method is used to make the ham less salty. Add peeled onions and cook ham for a half hour per pound. Add more water when it starts getting low. Peel and cut potatoes and carrots. Wash and core cabbage and cut into wedge like pieces. Add your vegetables at the last 40 minutes of cook time. They will boil in the pot with your ham. Serve together. Voila. Boiled dinner with your ham.
