Your son is no longer a minor and yes, you can boot is arrogant little butt out of the house. I have a feeling he won't go peacefully, so, if not, call the police and have him removed! I know a couple of people that did this and in fact, one was my brother with his eldest son. His son was bossy, taking over the household and my brother was fearful of him because my brother is 5' 11" tall and his son is 6' 5" tall and out weighs my brother by 60 lbs. My brother and his wife asked their son to move and he refused, so they called the police, had him removed in handcuffs and a restraining order put against him. It's hard for a parent to do this, but a must as the parents should have control over their children and the children should never be verbally or physically abusive towards their parents if respect has been given that child. It took three months and I am happy to say that not only did their son come back and apologize, but he found his independence and is living in his own apartment and does come to visit and is much easier to get along with.
Let your son know you love him, but his behavior is unaccepted. It is possible your son could be doing drugs which can cause explosive temper tantrums and delusions of grandeur. It's time to cut him loose and let him be responsible for his own mistakes because that's how all of us had to learn in life. Hopefully he will get the picture. Let your son know when he has learned to respect himself, then he'll respect others and when and if he wants to come home he's to have respect within your home and until that time he is not welcomed back.
I know this is a difficult thing for a parent to do, but it's called 'tough love' and you don't put your foot down now he will only gain more power in your home and also ruin the lives of his other siblings not to mention making your life miserable.
