That really depends on your needs. If you want a reliable vehicle you can depend on then get the evo. However if you are a very bored yet skilled (and wealthy) mechanic you'll want the Ford because you will certainly need to rebuild both the engine and manual transmission by 90k miles. Also the suspension is very fragile and you will be replacing struts after big pot holes. lets not forget about the poor electronics as well like the CD player and cruise control systems which will fail in less than 75k miles. The only positive thing i can say about the focus is that it is nimble in traffic and can easily beat a mustang automatic off the line, this would also be true of the evo as well im sure.
