no not unless they repaired it well because it could've screwed up the engine

The problems that i have found with "flood cars" hasn't normally been in the engines. The main problem has been electrical problems. All of the connections and plug ins have been saturated and in time the process of corrosion starts. From there all kinds of strange electrical problems start to occur. Such as lights working then dimming then going out. Wires getting so corroded that they break off at the connectors.

Usually a repaired flood car will be OK for awhile. The electrical problems begin later on then get worse as time goes on.
