The way it was in my house was we could not date till we were at least 16, which i totally hated it, but i realize why my father did it. He wanted me to realize how guys are and also he didnt want me to get hurt, and now i am almost 18 and i finally got a bf. which i am glad to wait cuz i found a more machure guy and he cares about me a lot.. So sweety i think you should wait until you are like 16 or a lil older so u dont get hurt and u realize what u really want

i kind of agree with the first answer...but the second answer is crazy....u must be a slut, i would say in the middle of them. try the local carnival on a ferris wheel or taking a walk somewhere, try out your friends Baseball game and go take a walk and hold her hands then look at her tehn just risk it....im in 6th grade and ive only had 1 kis with this girl that i LOVE too...if shes up to it, do it but if shee feels uncomfortable just tell her we can wait, goodluck and i think my answer is the most best....in my opinio

∙ 13y agoyes, but you can also do group things with him invited along. Invite a group to the mall for Pizza and a movie. Dance with him at the school dance. You have to remember that as an 8th grade girl you are more mature than your friend the 6th grade boy. In fact, in most cases you are more mature than the 8th grade boys in your class and you know what I am saying is correct. ( I have taught middle school for 25 years and seen this year after year). So, be cool and don't worry so much about dating. You have LOTS of years to date. Instead start thinking about the dress you'll get for your 8th grade graduation if your school has one.
Well, you should be able to be the judge of that. Other people may think that it's not okay, but if you both really, trulylike each other then... well, I dunno.
