- Just because you are boyfriend and girlfriend does not mean either of you cannot talk to the opposite sex. Just because your boyfriend talks to another girl doesn't mean he doesn't love you. You have the right to talk to any boy out there if you so choose. If an individual cannot deal with their boyfriend or girlfriend talking to the opposite sex then that person has little confidence in themselves or could be overly jealous. The way around problems is to have good communication skills (one is never too young or too old to learn communication skills) and be open and honest with your boyfriend and he should be the same with you. This often takes any doubt out of your mind and you can both learn something from each other and mature as you go along in your relationship.
