Honestly I have been in financial hardship had to do chapter 13, 2 times the same year, when it came to buy a car I was approved for $25k from Ford Motor company, my score is 638 and the financial institute I bank with gives me a score of 680, and will approve up to $300K to buy a house. I, like you was having hard time moving on with my life. As it is know I have 8 negative report on my credit and believe me the bank does not care, it is all about first impression with the banker

I tried to pay my debt in full in order to have them PTD especially the one Charge Off, according to the OC they cannot do anything about it, so my question was why keep it on the report ? no answer they hang up on me.

way to go
