It depends on who you are really. Many people think booth tanning is a quick fix to their pale skin issue, when really it isn't. What booth tanning does is that it speeds up the process of a tan from the sun, therefor, if you tan from the sun, it will work beneficently for you, while on the other hand, if you burn in the sun, well then you will get the same result from the booth. Keep in mind that booth tanning can put you at a high risk for skin cancer as well as the sun can.
P.S. if you are pale and burn and desperately want a tan, go and get a professional spray tan, don't do it at home with lotion or other products if you don't know what you are doing because it will streak.
