No leave them be. If you even touch them the mother canary will reject them.
Usually the male canary helps the female feed the young. Some males will bully the young or pluck feathers and in that case they need to be separated.
you should separate them when they are 7-8 weeks old or older
Yes you have to separate the male gerbil from the female with her babies because if you leave the male with the female and her babies the male will kill them.
After giving birth to the babies separate the male from the female and babies or else the male will try to kill them. after a few week or so separate the mother and then separate the female and male babies or else they will mate at an early age and have undeveloped babies
Dont worry about female or male, they may have babies but it does not effect them dying! Just leave them where they are act as normal, by cleaning out the tank! and feeding them.
Once the doe and buck have mated you should separate them. ESPECIALLY when the babies are born. The buck can trample the babies when there still hairless or when they're older the buck will try to mate with the does of the litter.
If you dont want them to have babies ,Yes If you want them to have babies,no
no the parents and babies could mate together and after a while you will need to separate the female babies from the male babies and posibley the mother and father as they will breed again. however you could keep the mother and the female babies together, but the males will need separating no the parents and babies could mate together and after a while you will need to separate the female babies from the male babies and posibley the mother and father as they will breed again. however you could keep the mother and the female babies together, but the males will need separating no the parents and babies could mate together and after a while you will need to separate the female babies from the male babies and posibley the mother and father as they will breed again. however you could keep the mother and the female babies together, but the males will need separating
the female mice should not hurt the babies but may become jelous so i would put them in separate cages to be on the safe side.. but if she is in a cage with two other females how did it get pregnant??
You should separate them before she has the babies because almost right after she gives birth she can become pregnant again and you will have bunny explosion!!! Separate them!! The world does not need more bunnies!!!!! :) hope that helps.
You can leave them in the same cage ONLY if they are dwarf hamsters. No other breed of hamster can you put the male and female together with the babies, the male will hurt, kill, or even eat the babies. The male dwarf hamster, however, can actually help raise the babies with the female.
Yes because the male will try to kill the female and the babies
The father should not be present at all, hamsters do not live together in mated pairs. He may make the female nervous and have her eat her babies for protection of them! Also, you should set her habitat in a quiet place and make sure not to alarm her. Any stress during this time may lead to cannibalistic results. Her bedding may start to stink, but you have to ignore this and change it when she is ready to have her babies separated from her. Any earlier, and you may alarm her and have her eat her babies.
