As I have found from one of the very best books to deal with relationships aka (The Bible), it is impossible to be happy with someone that you don't respect because if they don't respect you then surely they do not love you. Respect is a fundamental building block for relationships. At Eph. 5:33 it states that "each one of you must love his wife as he does himself; on the other hand, the wife should have deep respect for her husband". Love and respect are just two key components that can't be left out of a successful relationship.

Commitment is a big word. It stands for, forever and ever. If you love this person, then respect there decision. Dont push this person for one, because then they will be pushed off. But, If your ready and she or he isn't, then try to step away slowly from this person little by little. There could be someone out there who is ready to be serious with someone.
