If you can't talk with your friend in person, I would suggest a phone call over the texting. A phone call is much more personal. It would mean so much more to your friend.
I usually call them mates but i also call them friends as well. ++ Also "pals" and in the past, "chums" though that's pretty well died out.
just be there to comfort him and tell him if he needs anything to let you know because my uncle died today.
my wife who died
you should call the vet or after it's died.
No, he sounds like a selfish prick
Honestly you should tell them you are sorry for their loss... then you should try to make them feel better and just listen to what they have to say... that's what a good friend would do
People are just being RUDE. Personally I love Ke$ha. I'm her friend.
"I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm here for you if you need to talk. Please let me know if I can help in any way." Wait a week or two and call again. It will take your friend a long time--maybe a year or two--to go through the grieving process. At first there is a lot to do--a huge number of things to take care of. Then the activity ends, the services are over, the family and friends go home, and you are alone with it. That may be when your friend will need you most.
You Can Try And Cheer Her Up But She Needs SomeTime Alone Also.
Defineatly now
I'm concerned my friend in New York may have died. He no longer answers my calls. Should I check the newspaper obituaries for New York State?
The envelope should be addressed to: Mr. & Mrs. John Doe (his wife should be included as deceased was her mother-in-law.)
