It is on the very front of the frame. If you look directly at the grill, right below the center where the headlights are, you will see a flat metal plate. The vin is stamped on this plate. This area accumulates a lot of dust and dirt so you may need to wipe it off before you will see the actual vin number.
2004 fourtraz were 450cc. You must have 2005 or later
The model number is found above and forward of the front left shock, there are other details above and in front of the right shock

check the manual for the people that dont have the manual like myself it is located on the front rack underneth the plastic fenders. right where you would mount a winch. chances are if you have a winch on your bike you will have to take the winch off to be able to read it.
