my chihuahua wouldn't take food or water for 3 days and on the 4th day she lost her mucous plug which looked like a tan slimy substance.. after that she continued in labor for now going on almost 24 hrs and still going.. no pushing yet. this is her 62nd day pregnant.. she is whining and contractions are hard. she should be pushing soon. (i hope and Pray).. i have had the Vet on the phone for 2 days now and its just a waiting game. she is having 6 pups by xray. Also these last 4 days she didnt want to come out of her whelping box.. hope this helps..Stacy
