I just fixed a similar problem on my LT155. All that needed to be done was to tighten the button on top of the lift lever by screwing it in until it stops. This puts pressure back on the spring under the button, which is necessary to push down on the latch at the other end of the lift lever so that it will engage the keeper on the tractor frame. Without enough pressure from the spring under the handle, the latch won't engage the keeper. Very simple fix, actually. (Once you figure out what's wrong.)
Since it is proprietary information...you will have to buy it...:-( ...either from John Deere or I&T manuals
124 years
Since John Deere no longer makes leaf blowers and the age of it, I would figure about 250.00.
You can buy a John Deere tractor in Memphis, Tennessee at the local tractor dealer. Since Memphis, Tennessee is located in the south, it will be very easy to locate a John Deere.
Donaldson has made all John Deere filters since 1915. JD is Donaldsons #1 client, but they represent only 10% of Donaldson's business.
disconnect the ac compressor and reconnect it
John Deere and Cyrus McCormick were never together. They were rivals of each other ever since McCormick invented the mechanical reaper(combine) and Deere & Company were trying to invent their own(John Deere was himself dead at this time). They were even more rival companies when McCormick merged with other companies to for International Harvester, a huge blow for Deere as they still are strong competitors today.
If your John Deere seat malfunctioned, you may want to contact the company and see if they can't refund you or replace some parts. Since John Deere sells such reliable products, I would imagine their customer service would be great as well. I would also stick to buying John Deere parts for your John Deere so your warranty isn't violated.
I grew up on a farm with all John Deere products, but know many farmers who think other brands are the best as well. Since you question does not specify what size tractor, I found this link for compact tractors that may help you decide if Deere is truly the best. http://tractors.i75cars.com/
Which one? The Froelich tractor which led to the Waterloo Boy which led to the Model D was invented by John Froelich while the John Deere-Dain, the first tractor to bear the John Deere name, was invented by Joseph Dain.
Early 345's had a pair of wires reversed during manufacture. One had one wire and the other had two; they were either pink or purple with a white stripe. Consult a Deere dealer since they can access the service bulletin on this.
That would be a McCormick Deering tied in with Farmall\International Harvestor, depending on the yeat of the mower it will be red with blue wheels and cutter bar or yellow and red. The Deering name has nothing to do with John Deere. Since Deering was the forerunner of John Deere, the colours would be green with yellow lettering (the same as on a John Deere tractor).
