Sources of carbohydrates?
Grains, rice, seeds, legumes, fruits and vegetables
Carbohydrates come predominantly from plant based foods including grains, vegetables, fruits and legumes. Sugar is also a carbohydrate so anything containing sugar will also contain carbohydrates. Good sources of carbohydrates are those found in whole foods, such as whole grains and vegetables. Refined carbohyrates are the ones to limit; these include processed foods such as cheez-its and pastries.
