Remove spark plug wire boot from spark plug.
Loosen spark plug using proper size deep well socket.
Once loose, continue removal, by hand if desired.
Gap new spark plug to 0.038" to 0.042:
Install and torque to snug tight, then turn additional 1/4 turn.
Install spark plug wire boot.

Greetings, The spark Plug is located on the left side of the bike (if you are sitting on the bike). It is under the gas tank. Let me know if you figure out a wat to replace it. I am still working on that one. To clarify the above: The spark plug is accessed from the left side of the engine, atop the cylinder head. There is one spark plug. Access for replacement is very easy. Put a wrench on it and turn it counterclockwise to remove the old spark plug, then apply a slight film of anti-seize compound the the new spark plug's threads, carefully hand thread the properly gapped new plug into the hole, then tighten it to the specified torque using your wrench. The standard plugs for the Buell XB's are Harley 10R12A. The NGK iridium cross reference plug is DCPR8EIX 12mm thread and 3/4" length.

If you have no spark on the 1991 Subaru Legacy, you should check the spark plugs and spark plug wires for replacement. You should also check the battery and ignition for replacement.

There are 2 plugs, one for engine oil, the other for transmission/primary drive oil. Both are underneath the engine/transmission case near the kick-stand support on the left hand side.
