Where is the spark plug located on a 2002 Buell Blast?

Greetings, The spark Plug is located on the left side of the bike (if you are sitting on the bike). It is under the gas tank. Let me know if you figure out a wat to replace it. I am still working on that one. To clarify the above: The spark plug is accessed from the left side of the engine, atop the cylinder head. There is one spark plug. Access for replacement is very easy. Put a wrench on it and turn it counterclockwise to remove the old spark plug, then apply a slight film of anti-seize compound the the new spark plug's threads, carefully hand thread the properly gapped new plug into the hole, then tighten it to the specified torque using your wrench. For all the Buell Blast and other Buell Motorcycle related information you can stand, check out the Buell Forums on BadWeatherBikers.com and especially the excellent Thumper Forum; see following links. :)

What is CDI for a scooter?

it is similar to an IC - intergrated circuit, but it is much bigger. It controls the highvontage current that run to the spark plug. That current will make a small lightning at intervals at the other end of the spark plug. The little lightning will burn the fuel gas in the clylinder, making engine work.

How do you get to your spark plugs on your 2003 buell xb9r?

Buell motorcycles with air-cooled engines have their spark plugs located atop each cylinder head. You can change the plugs on a Buell XBike in about 15 minutes. Take off the side air scoop, 3 torx bolts. The front one is easy, the wires are tough to get back on, a long 90 degree bend needle nose pliers are great for the job. The rear one, take off the seat, get a 10" or so wobble extension and a swivel, feed it thru the frame get it on the plug, turn just enough to loosen it and take the plug out with your fingers or just the plug socket. You do not have to take off the airbox and all that other stuff.

How do motorcycles charge batteries?

What is An electric discharge between two oppositely charging surfaces?

Lightning is a common answer, but the clouds are not really a surface. A spark would be a more general description for this phenomenon, such as in a spark plug in your car's engine.

How do you change the spark plugs in a 1987 Chevy Celebrity?

To change the spark plugs in a Chevy Celebrity: 1. Give the spark plug boot a twist to free it up from the spark plug, then pull on the boot to remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug. 2. Use a 5/8" spark plug socket with an extension and ratchet or breaker bar to loosen then remove the spark plug. 3. Set the gap on the new plug to .045" then screw it back into the spark plug hole in the head. Tighten the spark plug and replace the spark plug wire. I change the spark plugs one at a time to keep from getting the spark plug wires on the wrong spark plug.
