Your rifle was manufactured by Winchester as their model 121. The spent shell is removed from the chamber by action of the right and left extractors and is then bounced out by bumping agains the ejector. Look for problems there. Parts are available from gunpartscorp.com.
Do you have to have the magazine in for glenfield model 20 to eject the shell?
No...you do not have to have clip in rifle for it to eject shell casing. You can use without clip and load one bullet at a time. Alot of rifle ranges want it done that way because there is less chance of bullet remaining in chamber..good luck

I'm not certain what you mean, "how do you use a boltaction", but I'll go with it anyway. Bolt action, simply refers to the mechanism that ejects the old shell and loads a new shell into the chamber. The bolt action is a kind of handle on top of the gun, and when you want to load a shell, and this is assuming it has the capacity for more than one shell, you raise the handle up, and pull it back;this will eject a spent shell if you've already fired it; then push the bolt forward, which loads a new shell. If it's a single shell capacity, or single shot, you'll have to follow the above instructions, but load the shell in manually after you've opened the chamber by pulling back the bolt. Clear as mud.
Why won't a 410 Stevens Model 67E shotgun eject spent shells?
I had the same gun and same problem. I found out that because it is a older model that you have to use a little more force and speed when you eject the spent shell. It should work because i have the cheapest wal-mart shells you can get and mine works just fine.

This is a common problem with this gun. To solve the problem, take the gun completely down and clean every part. Do not use a chamber brush. This will cause rusting and pitting over time,which contributes to jams. Pay close attention to the rotating bolt, smoothing out any rough edges where it has dug into the bolt slides.

Your question is ambiguous, assuming by capsule you mean the shell casing then this is also not the case in every weapon. Shell casings are ejected when the weapon is fired if it is an automatic or semi-automatic weapon. Revolvers, for instance, do not eject the spent cartridges.
