first production run, all stainless trophy match 1911A1 springfield armory of only 45 produced, per springfield armory. purchased in 1991 and never fired. I own #3. can you help me.
The value of a Springfield 1911 is quite obviously your own personal defense. So, in short, your life. I mean, I trust my life to one.
1,250.00
Six to seven hundred dollars.
Your 1911 model was made by Colt in 1919. Your slide probably reads 'springfield' and you think it is, but often slides on 1911's aew switched when being cleaned. Value depends on overall condition. Ex. very good, good, fair, poor.
made by Colt 1912 for US Navy. not unusual to see springfield slide on a Colt frame
My guess is that the NM stands for National Match, a better quality barrel
it's colt made in 1918. if your slide reads 'springfield' then someone put a springfield slide on the colt frame. that is not unusual................
prices for the 1911 model are very high. however, value depends overall on condition and make. to verify the maker the serial number is used for a look up. at times a springfield slide might be put on a Colt frame causing the 1911 owner to think his pistol is a springfield, which is incorrect. at this time estimates for a 1911 can reach $1500 plus or minus
Need a good description in order to even begin to attempt to put a value on it.
based on serial number your 1911 was made by Colt in 1919. you probably have a Springfield slide on your 1911 causing you to think it's a Springfield. Not unusual for 45's to have the wrong slide.............
there are a number of variables to that question. the condition-the year of manufacture-does it function? $350.00 to $600.00
made by Colt in 1918. not unusual to see a springfield slide on a Colt frame. value depends on overall condition. estimate $1500 plus or minus.
