Absolutely not! they are different from all aspects. Sunnis never abuse any Sahabi. instead Kharji are nearest to Shiah (who abuses all sahaba except some) and Kharji do the same for Most of Sahaba including Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Muawia
and their base is Hadith " One who pick arm agaist Muslim ( to kill ) is not from us" So they believe that Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Muawia both were (nauzubillah) out of Islam.
