As we speak, I have two on may face and they hurt. I looked up info on cystic acne but it stated that it's knots are soft and fluidy. Mine are hard as a rock. There is no pimple head on them and I am trying not to push them. I just started taking some Vitamin C and Daily vitamins and these are the first I had in a while. If they only appear at different times, then I would say that your diet or stress is causing them. I have been drinking a lot of diet mountain dews that may be causing mine.
