In Texas what happens if you drive without a DL while on parole?

If you are caught, that is two violations: 1). driving without a license - a violation of law; and, 2). contact with law enforcement - a violation of parole stipulations. Likely as not you will be returned to prison with a new charge.

How much time do you do in Texas if you get a 3 year sentence on a 2nd degree felony?

3 years is the maximum. Generally, parole eligibility is when the time served plus good time credit equals 1/4 of the sentence, however there is no guarantee parole would be granted, and if there are aggravating factors (priors or if it's a 3g offense), parole law may be different. Also, mandatory supervision is available as long as it is not a 3g offense once the calendar time served plus good time equals three years.

Does a person on probation get credit for street time in Idaho?

Short answer no. Long answer it depends on if they are on probation or parole. Probation means the judge has control of the situation and you are not entitled to anything because you aren't physically confined to a jail cell. If you are on parole the parole board has the ultimate power. They can choose to give you partial or full credit based on whatever factors they deem relevant. You are not entitled to "street time" in any way shape or form because Idaho law states that unless you are literally physically detained in a jail, prison, or other facility you are not actually serving a sentence.

Is there a statute of limitations for parole warrants if you were on parole for burglary in Phoenix Az?

Dear Fugitive; I do not know the letter of the law in Arizona. However "statue of limitations" applies to the amount of time between a crime and the subsequent filing of charges in court. If you were on parole, you were already charged and found guilty. If you are on the run from the police, it does not matter that you have eluded them for a long time. The cops don't have a limit on the amount of time they have to find you. You can still be arrested 30 years from now when you're 82, or whatever. Also, if there is a parole warrant on you, you are not "on parole" you are a fugitive. What I mean is: if they catch you and for some crazy reason they don't send you to prison, you still have to finish serving your parole time. The time you spend hiding is "fugitive time" and does not count as "parole time".

Can you visit someone in a Texas prison if you are on parole?

There is no set law saying that you can't. But many prisons have their own rules. And also a common condition of parole or probation is not to have any contact with other known or suspected criminals, many times this would include criminals that are currently in jail or prison. The only way to know for sure is ask your parole officer, as all parole conditions very slightly to greatly.

How do you report a fugitive of blue warrant?

Texas, all prisoners placed on parole after completing their minimum prison sentences remain under court supervision. To receive parole status, a prisoner must agree to obey certain conditions set up by the court, such as employment, community service and meetings with his parole officer. When a Texas parolee is deemed to have committed a parole violation, law enforcement issues a Blue Warrant, a document traditionally enclosed in a blue jacket that calls for the arrest of the violator.
