not enough collant . water valve in heater hose could not be shutting off and letting hot water flow through the heater core. compressor not staying engaged.
have the coolant system pressure tested to help diagnose your problem.
I had that problem with my 1997 Lhs replaced the PCM and it works fine.
You need to have the cooling system pressure tested.
sounds like your coolant lines, heater core, or both needs replaced. i just replaced the heater core in my truck with the same problem
When the low coolant warning light comes on and the car has enough coolant, it usually means there is a problem with the coolant level sensor system. The sensor may need to be replaced.
The sensor may be defective/broken. I would have that checked or replaced.
i have a 95 impreza and i just got the same dtc ( po115) along with po114 wich was my 02 sensor. So most likely the fuel loop problem is being caused by the coolant sensor and once that is replaced the other problem should subside. Similar to my 02 sensor dtc, wich i believe is being caused by the excess gas being used from the faulty coolant sensor
It is possible that the coolant mixture is not correct- that can make a car run hot. It is possible for the water pump to go out. Also it is possible to be having a problem with the radiator fan.
It could possibly be a clogged heater core
I hope you replaced the coolant with a 50/50 mix of coolant and water. Pure coolant will overheat and freeze quicker than a mix. You should have replaced the thermostat, and checked the water pump, and fans for proper operation. Also after draining and refill the cooling system, it must be bled properly, which I suspect is your problem. Trapped air in the system will cause the engine to overheat.Answeri had this problem you've got to wait for the water to circulate. just open the cap and pour more water in (i put 2L of water in)
had the same problem with a sibring, took to the garage, they replaced the thermostat and gasket and found a hairline crack in the thermostat housing they replaced the housing and everything was fine then
Check; coolant, fan, fan clutch and fan clutch solenoid, blocked or partially blocked lines and coolant gallery.
