On the 10th Raman 8 Hijra ( in some books- 6th Ramazan, 29th April, 629 AD) the Holy Prophet (PBUH) left for Mecca with an army of 10, 000 Mujahideen. (AlRaheq-ul-Makhtoom). The Muslim Army entered Mecca on 18th Ramazan 8th Hijri. The holy Prophet had ordered the Muslim army not to wage battle or to kill any non-believer. Mecca fell to the Muslims without bloodshed (A group of youth from Mecca raised arms against the Muslims troop. 12 non-believers were killed by the troop under the command of Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed RAU. Two Muslims were also martyred in the clash. The holy Prophet SAW disliked this clash and killing.
