The Jews as a nation (but not all individual Jews) rejected Christ the first time He came, because God had blinded them to the truth that Jesus was their Messiah they had been waiting for:-
Joh 12:37 But though He had done so many miraculous signs before them, they did not believe into Him,

It was God who blinded them, and it is also God who will cause them to see. God can cut someone off, and re-instate them again:-
