Theres 2 parts to the bible- the Old Testament and the New Testament. The bible is a book made up with may books or you could call them chapters.The New Testament is not one book. It is made up of a few books/chapters. So the New Testament is not a book in itself. Rather a part 2 of the bible. If you are thinking of names then the New Testament is sometimes referred to as the 'New Covenant.' The word 'Gospel' is also used loosely sometimes to apply to the entire New Testament, especially as the Gospel message of good news of salvation through Jesus Christ and its implications, is the one central theme.
