There may be a switch that is activated by the gearshift position - check under or at side of gearshift or where it connects to the transmission
To repair the Reatta running lights check the fuse first. If the fuse is blown ad a replacement blows then check the lights and wiring for any shorts.
Does it have trailer light wiring also? check that too.

Check the brake light switch on the pedal. There are different switches for the 3rd and reg brake lights If you have already replaced the bulbs of the two lights that are not working then check the wiring between the lights. If you don't have a repair manual get a haynes it has wiring diagrams in them.

Check fuse for parking lights (same circuit) Check bulbs could be a bad headlight switch
Double check the wiring diagrams for your vehicle but it's probable the flashers and signals use the same relay to function. The wiring for your flashers will go through the hazard switch which is where the malfunction is. If you replace the switch your problem should be solved.
I would check the fuses. if all fuses look okay then check the wiring. if the wiring looks fine i would recommend taking it to a shop.
