If you have checked the blower motor and it does function when power is applied then I would suspect the Blower Motor Resistor Pack is defective. It is also possible the blower motor speed control is bad, but highly unlikely.

Try searching answered questions under "blower motor 1997 Cadillac Deville" I just had to change mine in a 1996 Deville. Motor aprox. $240.00/Labor aprox. $100.

Start by checking the Audi's blower motor fuse. Check the blower switch, resister, and lastly, check the motor to find the problem.
