There is a "proportioning valve" that relieves some pressure during heavy braking.

Why do you have very little pressure at rear wheel caliper while bleeding brakes?

Could be a collapsed (restricted) brake line Equalizer valve may have to be manually opened to allow full fluid flow (Ford)

Is a proportioning valve and a brake force regulator the same thing?

The proportioning valve adjusts the amount of fluid pressure between the front brakes and rear brakes, I would say the answer is yes.

You replaced your rotor on the front driver side of your 1990 F250 but your brake peddle goes all the way to the floor you have tried bleeding them in the front but no change what else can you do?

Look under the vehicle at the rear area -there should be an 'equalizing" valve for the rear brakes - secure this valve in fully open position and try bleeding rear brakes

1988 Dodge Dakota there are two rear brake lines that lead to a valve in front of the left rear wheel then a single line to the rear brakes what is this valve?

It is a Proportioning valve. It controls how much pressure is applied to the brakes on each axle. During heavy braking this prevents rear brake lock-up.

Why won't brakes on my 1989 F250 Ford stop the truck I had a new master cylinder rear brakes and cylinders front rotors and brakes?

the air must be bled out... but on this system, it is very hard to do, especially if everything has been changed. you will find air in the r.a.b.s. valve, and there may not be a bleeder valve on it. start by bleeding the master cyl. then go to the r.a.b.s. valve, and bleed valve 1 line at a time. you may have to park truck on an incline to get all the air out. then bleed the wheels, starting w/ r.r, l.r, r.f, & l.f.
