Depending on the engine, the crankshaft pulley will have a mark that you can whiten with chalk. The cover underneath it has a scale embossed on it. I believe the setting is 15 degrees TDC. You can try asking the parts department at Toyota or look at manuals. Remember to short the check connector when using your timing light to get the right reading. If you changed the timing belt, the hash marks on the two CAM pulleys are straight chalk the marks on the metal housing and pulleys to aid your efforts, the crank pully should point to zero on the scale. You will have fun trying to keep the two cams still while getting the belt on them and the crank. Get a friend to help hold things while you get the belt on and release the tensioner pulley. You should turn the crank bolt clockwise twice and recheck that they are all still in synch. If so, tighten the tensioner nut. Be sure to replace the idler and tensioner pulleys when changing the belt. Expensive, but necessary. Good luck, Auntetr
