It sounds like it is the clutch cable. I have a 94 Nissan Sentra and the clutch cable just broke. I have replaced one on an older Nissan, but it is still difficult for me to do on the 94. It is really hard to get the broken cable out.
To bleed a clutch on a Nissan Stanza, you need to find the bleed-off valve, usually somewhere near the slave cylinder.
If it ain't the clutch itself then its prob. your slave or master cylinder.
$126 for the whole clutch kit. Clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing.
I have 14,000 miles in the clock and my car is just 13 months old and my clutch is burned out . My dealer says its wear and tear!!! I have been driving for nearly 30 years and I have never had a problem with a clutch before.
Remove the clutch cover , you might have to remove the left floorboard to remove the cover . The rear clutch can easily be removed by removing the bolt in the middle and pulling it straight outward . The front clutch requires a puller that screws into the center of the clutch .Removal without a puller will result in clutch damage .
Sounds like a bad master cylinder or slave cylinder. Also make sure you check the clutch fluid it is probably empty. Add fluid and check the next day or so if it is almost empty itis the problem listed above. Also but not probable leaking line. Also check security of clutch master cylinder to bulkhead.(Had a pathfinder with similar problem!)
yes but you would have to change the clutch
no such thing as clutch fluid. dot 3 brake fluid is to be used in the clutch tank
Check your clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder for leaks,if no leaks, then you need a new clutch kit.
If it does it in all of the gears then you may need a new clutch. If it is just doing it in 5th gear then it is a transmission problem.
