You have it the wrong way round. Germany WAS Nazi, and their armies occupied most of the countries in Europe.
Allied armies are Armies from different countries that are working on the same side. Two or more countries may come together to fight a common enemy, this would make them allied armies.
The armies of Napoleon Bonaparte.
There are a number of reasons for this. Bigger countries are able to produce bigger armies, as a general rule; they have more money to spend on weapons, and more population from whom to recruit soldiers. But in addition to that, some countries expect to be attacked by their neighbors (Israel is a good example) and therefore take extra steps to prepare for those attacks, and other countries (Luxembourg, for example) do not expect to be attacked by their neighbors and see little reason to have a large army. North Korea has a large army because it still has ambitions to overrun South Korea.
No.
The reason was that Adolf Hitler, a megalomaniac dictator, wanted to conquer Europe and started his Nazi armies invading other countries around Germany. His massive armies 'blitzed' through smaller countries until they occupied all of Europe except Sweden, Switzerland and Spain.
