Pressure.
Anything you compress increases pressure you ignoramus.
Also, what you 'asked' wasnt even a properly worded question.
Go back to school.
Diesel engine doesn't have spark plug as like petrol engine . But It has an atomizer (A plug through which fuel is sprayed into the combustion chamber).... During Intake Stroke ,the vacuum caused by piston draws air (only) into the cylinder ,Now during Compression stroke Atomizer comes to play ,Spraying Diesel into the cylinder meanwhile the piston compresses the air, so that it's temperature rises to such extent that diesel could be ignited by the heated air, and there comes the power stroke and so on... So ,Conclusion is that Diesel Engine doesn't use spark plug, but the increase in temperature of air during compression is enough to ignited the diesel.. Hope You Got The Answer
only if it has a diesel engine. A gasoline engine will not run properly on diesel fuel.
Only if the engine was designed to run on diesel.
Gasoline engines cannot run on diesel. Only a diesel engine can run diesel. And a diesel engine cannot run on gasoline.
yes they had a diesel engine but only for 2 years 1984-1986 and the engine was made by Oldsmobile
In diesel engine the air is only compressed in compression stroke and then diesel is entered .......so only small amount of fuel is consumed then petrol engine which take lot amount of fuel.......
All current Diesels are 4 cycle engines like gasoline engines, intake compression power exhaust the only difference, is that the compressed air from the turbo doesn't get mixture with fuel while going into the cylinder. A diesel engine compresses it and sprays the diesel fuel into the combustion chamber when the piston is near/at full compression. The air is so hot that the fuel automatically ignites when it is sprayed( no spark plugs).
Only if you put diesel in gas tank.
Flex fuel does not mean you can use diesel. It means the engine can run on pure gasoline or on E85 gasoline. If you put diesel in this vehicle it simply will not run. Diesel can only be used in a diesel engine.
sic difference between Petrol and Diesel engines that the difference of fuel and their mixture..in diesel we only compresses the Air and sprays Diesel but in Petrol Engines we compresses both the air and Petrol together and gets burnt with the the help of spark given by the Spark plug. I must add this, also the thermodynamic cycle is so different in diesel engines rather than petroleum engines. You can fined more in Reed's series volume 12
Only if you have time to fix the resulting non running mess. Diesel fuel, no. Diesel engine oil, yes if it is the proper weight.
Not that I have ever seen. The only exception would be that they may use the same diesel engine. Not that I have ever seen. The only exception would be that they may use the same diesel engine.
