I actually just went through this problem with my 2001 civic this week. What is happening is your DRL module is shorting out. In my case the right headlight was off and the left head light was on. I fixed it myself in a half an hour.
You can fix this problem yourself quite easily or take your car into a dealer.
To fix the car this is what you do.
- Take off the two panels underneath the drivers side (right below the steering wheel.)
- Right above the clutch (or just left of the break for automatic) you will see the DRL module. It is a little black box with a blue plug in.
- Pull out the plug and then with a flat head screw driver pry and pull the module out of its box. This is fairly easy or you can remove the box from the car and then take the module out.
- Once you have the module out you will see it is just a simple circuit board. Flip the board over and examine the solder on the back. I would bet that some of them look a little brown or cracked.
- What you need to do is resolder these worn out solder jobs. Just melt them a bit and put new solder on the pins.
- After you have done this is should work like new.
- If you are not comforatable soldering you can buy a brand new module from the dealer for about 103.00 but you might as well fix the one you have.
I learned how to replace it from this website it has pictures http://www.nyx.net/~smanley/hondadrlfix/
Now the hardest part for me was actually finding the module. I know the buzzing sounds like it is coming from the passenger side but the module is actually on the drivers side right above the clutch.
I am sure that The Odyssey will be somewhat similar. Any other questions don't hesitate to ask.
Update: on my Odyssey 2000 the DRL module located behind the glove compartment. It look identical to the picture illustrated on Steve Manley web site. You can see this module easily by fully open the glove compartment , Look through the opening of the glove compartment, it locate in the upper middle behind it.

Honda odessy abs light on when driving
I looked it up one time... you have to pretty much remove the entire dashboard... that is why it costs so much to have it done at the dealer.
