no they walked across a land bridge from Asia that is now under water
North Americas Asia
During the last Ice Age the ocean level dropped so much that a corridor of dry land emerged between Siberia and Alaska, where the Bering Strait is today. this allowed people from Asia to walk across.
Native Americans are the descendants of immigrants from Asia to North America, who travelled across the Bering Strait, possibly 40,000 years ago (or thereabouts) at a time when the strait was frozen and you could walk across on the ice.
The first native Americans are the people who came from Asia. (i think)

Native Americans
across Asia to Europe?
a new rout to asia
Somewhere roughly around 60 or 70 thousand years ago. They came across the ice-bridge that connected northern Asia to North America.
In between the western hemisphere and Asia (if you travel west) is the Pacific Ocean. If you travel east from the western hemisphere you would encounter Europe first, before you get to Asia, so Asia is not exactly across the Atlantic. But you can get to Asia directly, by going across the Pacific.
