The key wont turn in my MB 1999 c230 kompressor 4 door ..it turns about 1 sixteenth of an inch..and nothing....have not jumped the battery or gotton a new key it just sits there in the driveway..HELP?

if you are refering to the ignition key, the obvious thing to check is if the steering wheel is locked. If it is, try pulling the wheel down as if turning left, and try to turn key.
