The lens of the eye is held in place behind the pupil by the suspensory ligament
The lens of the eye is located in a bag called the lens capsule. The lens capsule is suspended in behind the iris by lens zonules.
The lens provides the extra refraction needed to focus the light rays from an object toward a focal point, a specific point of intersection on the retina.

microscope consists of two lens called eye lens and objective lens. objective lens is lens kept behind object and eye lens is keep on the top of microscope .i.e. on the place through which we look. firstly the object is placed behind the objective of microscope which is turned into virtual, erect and magnified image. later this image is thought to be the object for the eye lens and this objects forms real, inverted and magnified image.
When the objective lens you want to use is in the viewing area it will click in place. At times, trial and error will help. It will only take minute or two to get it correct.

The ciliary body is a specialized structure which anchors the iris with the choroid. It makes aqueous humor and anchors the lens via the zonules, through which it modulates lens changes. The ciliary body is a specialized structure which anchors the iris with the choroid. The crystalline lens, located behind the iris and pupil in the eye, is the second structure that holds the lens in place and allows it to change shape for focusing. This lens is responsible for fine-tuning the focusing of light onto the retina to produce a clear image.
Open the liftgate , at the top of the lens is ( 2 ) screws to remove , carefully pull the lens straight back towards you because it is held in place by plastic pins ( >>>>>>> ) The bulb sockets are a simple twist and remove
A magnifying glass is a hand-held instrument used to make an item look larger by magnifying its image when viewed through the lens.
place the lens cap in place.
A suspensory ligament suspends and holds, or assists in the holding of a joint alignment, an organ, or organ component in place. Examples would be the lens being held in alignment with the aperture and retina of the eye, or the juxtaposition of the patella and joint alignment of the knee.
They are held in place by a couple of thumb screws located on the top of the lens. Pop the hood, undo the thumb screws (2 or 3 of them) and pull. Once the headlight assembly is out, you can then remove the turn signal lenses as well.
When an object is viewed through a convex lens held in front of a concave lens, the object can appear either smaller or larger depending on the specific characteristics of the lenses and their relative positions. The combination of lenses can either magnify or reduce the size of the object.
To replace the lens in Oakley Minutes sunglasses, first open the nose bridge and gently push the lens out from the top corner. Then, align the new lens with the grooves on the frame and push it into place. Ensure the lens is securely in place before closing the nose bridge.
Each of the two clear plastic lenses is held in place by three small tabs on the lenses themselves. At the lens covering the bulb to be replaced, put a small flathead screwdriver between the lens and the colored plastic at the tab nearest the door and gently pry in; the lens should drop down. Do the same for either of the remaining tabs and the lens should drop out.
Remove the lens backet set screw located at the top of the lens - this is done with the hood up. The backet connects the lens to the frame body. G-E-N-T-L-E-Y place a large screw driver between the headlight lens and the trun singal lens and slowly pry the signal lens forward. The lens is held in place by a 3 - 4 inch tube that connects by presure into the frame. You'll need to apply enough presure to dis-engage the tube. It will pop out giving you access to all the lights contained in the lens. It's easy to pop it back in - remember to replace the set screw under the hood.
Place a small amount of lens-cleaning fluid on a clean sheet of lens paper. Make one small circular pass on the lens and toss out. If lens is still dirty - repeat.
The lens is held on with two t25 screws. Remove them, pull lens of, reverse to install.
